1、 Sealing design
The sealing design of modular doors and windows is crucial. The main structure of the sealing is the sealing between the unit and the protective frame, as well as the cells and protective boxes between the cells. Continuous rubber sealing should be used between two or more sealing elements and between the holes; The protective frame of the sealing structure design and the different structures between the holes should be designed according to a target form, so that the protection between the frames should be kept independent and the entrance waterproof mortar sealing treatment can be used after sealing the holes. Waterproof silicone can be used to protect the frame and then seal the window opening between the internal and external finishes.
2、 Waterproof design
Waterproof design is a major highlight of doors and windows, which can be achieved through modular waterproofing design. The waterproof design of the equipment itself can be achieved through the installation of drainage holes and units in the second layer of the shielding box. In addition to protection, drainage holes can also be opened at the connection position between the next frame and the unit body. Rainwater or condensed water is discharged directly from the drainage outlet to the body directly from the chamber under normal conditions. If the protective box between the cell body and rainwater infiltration or leakage caused by poor internal drainage of the unit body and cavity profile condensate is not tightly sealed, it can be smoothly discharged through the second layer of the waterproof protective box.
3、 Energy saving design
Both protective boxes and bridge thermal profile window units (wear strip or distribution type can be used) are used, and the width of the insulation structure can be adjusted according to the requirements of energy-saving goals. Due to the interface design of the unit door and window and the single cavity plug structure, the front door and window unit can be easily connected to one side of the elastic insulation material (extruded polystyrene or polyurethane material), which can effectively hinder the internal air circulation of the splicing unit's cavity. The energy-saving effect is far superior to other similar energy-saving windows, and also has the effect of sound insulation and noise reduction.
4、 Seismic design
A special plug-in installation structure for modular doors and windows enhances the displacement capacity of the main structure of the window, effectively absorbing seismic effects, temperature changes, and interlayer displacement, making it more suitable for seismic requirements in different regions than traditional doors.
